Futureminds is a fictional nonprofit that prepares young people for a future shaped by human-AI collaboration.
The concept came to me while we were brainstorming ideas for our final project during the Miuul Data learning journey.
After completing several intense sessions on CRM analytics, RFM, predictive modeling, and machine learning, I wanted to explore a use case that connects deeply with my experience at Junior Achievement of Greater Miami — analyzing the nonprofit donor cycle.
We decided to create a fictional dataset simulating donation transactions across the US to demonstrate all the skills we developed from scratch.
This project was an end-to-end experience:
- We created the data
- We cleaned and modeled it
- And finally, we built a compelling Power BI dashboard to turn insights into action
Throughout this project, I applied a wide range of analytical techniques:
- RFM Analysis
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV)
- Customer Segmentation
- Market Basket Analysis
- Multiple Regression
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) Analysis
- Customer Satisfaction Metrics
- Lost Donor Forecasting
- K-Means Clustering
- Logistic Regression
This project helped me discover how machine learning can help find your “golden” clients — even before they know about your product or service.
I’m grateful to Atilla Yardımcı, Ph.D., Dr. Oya Uysal Kog, Gonca Ülker Hayta, and especially my first responder teammate OZLEM VAR for their support and collaboration throughout this journey.
